Train Aligned. Stay in the Game.

You invest in coaching, training and recovery. AlignSmart® measures the one thing none of that does: the structural alignment your body is training on. Get ahead of the injury, not after it.

How can athletes reduce their risk of injury?

The short answer

Athletes can reduce their injury risk by finding out whether their body is structurally aligned before problems show up. When the body is out of alignment it compensates, and hard training repeats that imbalance thousands of times. AlignSmart® is a patented posture assessment that measures 20 points and gives you a Symmetry Score, so a practitioner can see the pattern early and build a correction plan around it. It works alongside your coach, trainer, chiropractor or physical therapist.

Why do athletes get hurt even when they train hard?

Think of a car with a bad alignment. You don’t notice at first, but the tires wear unevenly and the harder you drive, the faster they go. The body works the same way. Train hard on a frame that is slightly out of balance and the load keeps landing in the same places, session after session. Most training plans never check the foundation.

Most people also have no idea they are out of alignment, and even a slight degree can be enough to cause problems. It takes objective measurement to see it.

What makes your body compensate?

Compensation is the body working around an imbalance, and it usually traces back to four everyday causes. They apply to a 12-year-old soccer player just as much as a 42-year-old marathoner.

Sitting

Hours at a desk, in class or in the car shorten and weaken key muscles before you ever warm up.

Dominance

A stronger side, or a sport that always asks the same side to work, pulls you out of symmetry.

Injury

An old injury can change how you move long after it has “healed.”

Repetitive stress

The same motion thousands of times reinforces the imbalance instead of correcting it.

There is a chain reaction too. When one area can’t do its job, another picks up the slack. A tight hip changes how the knee tracks, the knee changes how the ankle loads, and the ankle changes your stride. By the time something hurts, it is often far from where the problem started.

How does AlignSmart® help athletes?

Symmetry for Health follows four steps, built around prevention rather than waiting for pain.

  1. MeasureThe patented AlignSmart® device captures 20 points across three planes of motion and produces your Symmetry Score, from 0 to 81.
  2. EducateYour practitioner shows you exactly where your body is compensating and why, in plain language.
  3. CorrectYou get a custom correction plan built for your structure, not a generic handout.
  4. EmpowerYou learn how to keep your alignment as you train, so progress holds up through the season.

Does this replace my coach, trainer or physical therapist?

No. AlignSmart® works with your team, not instead of it. Your coach builds the training, your trainer builds strength, and your chiropractor or PT handles care for pain and injury. AlignSmart® adds the measurement of your structural alignment that none of them are set up to provide, so everyone is working from better information.

Athlete questions, answered

Why do athletes get injured even when they train and recover properly?

Training and recovery don’t measure structural alignment. If your body is compensating for an imbalance, every hard session loads the same weak point until it becomes an injury.

Can I tell if my body is out of alignment on my own?

Not reliably. Most people don’t realize they are misaligned, and even a slight degree can cause problems. That is why Symmetry for Health uses objective measurement rather than a visual guess.

Is this useful for kids and teens in sports?

Yes. Young athletes face the same sitting, dominance, injury and repetitive stress patterns, and about half of youth sports injuries are overuse-related. Parents often choose to get a young athlete measured before the season starts.

What happens in an AlignSmart® assessment?

Your practitioner measures 20 points across three planes of motion, explains your Symmetry Score and what it shows, and builds a correction plan around your structure.

I already see a chiropractor or physical therapist. Should I still come in?

Yes, if you want to see your alignment data. AlignSmart® is designed to work alongside your existing care and training team.
